You can do this process even if your opening an app or playing games.. that's how I post mine on this blog... its tricky but you'll get used to it though. Screenshots will be saved on ScreenCapture folder on your sd card, or you can take a look at it on your gallery..
Here's the trick:
Just simply press the home key (the button on the buttom front of the phone at the center of the back and the menu key) and hold it for half a second and press together with the power button. Screen will display Screen captured and will camera flash will sound.
That is how you take a screenshot.. practice and it wont be that frustrating anymore.
